• Is Coast Kids Reshop a consignment store?

Yes, we pay local families for the pre-loved clothing we sell. At Coast Kids Reshop, we pay upfront - you don’t have to wait for an item to sell (buyout consignment). Please see the Rules for Resale, and register for an account to sell your items directly to us.

  • Where is your store?

We're located at 819 Gibsons Way, Gibsons BC. See our store hours here.

We're across from Wheatberries, in the Gibson's Health Unit Plaza.

  • Do you take sports gear?

Soccer shoes, dance shoes, running shoes? YES!

    Helmets, skates, bikes? Sorry, no.

  • Why don't you sell toys or equipment?

Unfortunately, the insurance needed to sell children's toys or equipment is prohibitively expensive. Bummer, I know.

  • What sizes do you carry?

Coast Kids Reshop carries clothing, shoes & outerwear for kids, size 0-18. We also have a maternity section.

  • What is your return policy?

Items can be exchanged within 3 days. If an exchange doesn't work, store credit will be offered.

  • How do I sell my kids outgrown items?

Please review the Sell to Us page for all the details.

  • How do I get paid for my items?

After you create an account and drop off items that follow the Rules for Resale, I will review and text you an offer. Reply to be paid by e-transfer or store credit. You do not have to wait for your items to sell. No haggling.

  • Why don't you sort by gender?

Because people are free to wear whatever they want. Full stop.

  • Why is it important to buy second-hand?

Planet Earth is drowning in unused items. Clothing makes up 5% of BC’s landfills and takes over 200 years to decompose. We do NOT need to produce and transport more clothing around the globe - especially when there are quality items right here in our own community on the Sunshine Coast of BC.

  • I can't find what I'm looking for!

I stock my store based on my own experience of what Sunshine Coast kids need. However, if you need a particular item, please let me know! I will do what I can to find it for you. I'm open to feedback on how to better serve our community.

  • Why shop local?

Shipping products across the globe is not sustainable and, frankly, very silly. Especially when we have items available to us right here in British Columbia! Shopping and selling local benefits families living here on the Sunshine Coast, including YOU.
